Reno Omokri has warned people against getting married because they are lonely. 

He urged them to make friends when lonely and only get married when they are ready to love, provide, and compromise. 

He wrote: "Maybe you are just lonely, and the loneliness is making you think you need a spouse. 

"Before scratching that marriage itch, try to get out more and make friends. A lot of times, you don’t really need a spouse. You may just need a friend. 

"Don’t marry because you are lonely. Marry because you are ready to love and provide and compromise. 

"And when you eventually meet someone, build the ensuing relationship on something a little deeper than sex. Because a relationship built solely on intercourse is precisely like a newspaper. As soon as you finish reading it, it loses its fascination. And by tomorrow, it will be replaced with the latest edition."
