Cristiano Ronaldo Says He Disagrees With Claims That Lionel Messi Is Better

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has once again addressed the long-standing debate over who is the greatest player of all time, firmly stating that he does not believe Lionel Messi is superior to him.

The Al Nassr forward and Portugal captain made the remarks during a new interview with British broadcaster Piers Morgan.

In a preview of the interview, Morgan asked Ronaldo: “They say Messi is better than you. What do you think?”

Ronaldo replied confidently, “Messi better than me? I don’t agree with that opinion. I don’t want to be humble.”

He was also questioned about previous comments from his former Manchester United teammate Wayne Rooney, who has openly said he prefers Messi. Ronaldo brushed it off, saying, “It doesn’t bother me at all.”

The rivalry between Ronaldo and Messi has dominated football discussions for over a decade, with both players earning historic achievements for club and country.

Ronaldo has won the Ballon d’Or five times, while Messi holds the record with eight wins, fueling ongoing debate among fans and analysts about who truly stands above the rest.
