Nollywood star Kate Henshaw has called for justice following a tragic road accident in Auchi, Edo State, that left the younger sister of reality TV star Phyna critically injured.
The victim — who had graduated just six days earlier — lost one leg to amputation and is at risk of losing the other after a collision allegedly involving a truck linked to the Dangote Group.
According to Henshaw, the truck driver fled the scene but was caught after an eyewitness, identified as a lecturer, gave chase. She further alleged that the truck’s license plate had been removed and that police are currently holding the vehicle in custody.
“She is the junior sister to @unusualphyna. Whoever owns the truck should own up. Calling on @PoliceNG @BenHundeyin to make sure justice is served,” Henshaw wrote on social media.
Phyna, a former Big Brother Naija winner, had earlier publicly called out billionaire industrialist Aliko Dangote, accusing his company of being linked to the vehicle that crushed her sister. She also alleged that the Dangote Group was attempting to shield those responsible.
Social media activist VeryDarkMan has since joined the call for justice, sharing a video of the victim’s critical condition and urging authorities to take swift action.
