Nine-Month-Old Baby Dies After Dog Attack in Family Home




A nine-month-old baby has tragically died following a dog attack at a home in Wales, according to police.

Emergency services were called to an address on Crossway in Rogiet at around 6pm on Sunday, November 2. Witnesses reported seeing a large police presence, including armed officers and multiple ambulances — with some saying as many as nine ambulances attended the scene.

Wales Online reports that armed police responded to the incident, where the infant was pronounced dead. No additional details about the circumstances have yet been released.

Police confirmed that the dog involved, whose breed has not been disclosed, has been seized and removed from the property.

Gwent Police are continuing their investigation into the baby’s death. Officers remain at the scene, and it is not yet known whether any arrests have been made.

The heartbreaking incident has prompted an outpouring of sympathy from the public, with many people expressing their condolences.
