Nollywood actress Rita Daniels, mother of popular film star Regina Daniels, has fiercely criticized her daughter’s estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, accusing him of masterminding the arrest of her son, Sweezy.
In a video shared on Sweezy’s Instagram Stories, Rita Daniels appeared visibly upset, calling out what she described as betrayal and misuse of power.
Clutching a phone and speaking with intense emotion, she declared:
“You wanted someone with a high star to polish your fading star. If you think you can bite the finger that fed you, you’ll fall. My daughter contributed $50,000 to your senatorial campaign. We’ve been protecting you and making you feel like an Odogwu — you’re not well.”
Sweezy captioned the video:
“Stressing my mother isn’t your fault. We’ll all lose it one day. I’ve never seen violence bring peace. Your pride is choking you. Drop the ego and apologize.”
This outburst comes amid growing tension between Rita Daniels’ family and Senator Nwoko following Sweezy’s alleged arrest, though the exact circumstances remain unclear.
