EFCC Issues Wanted Notice for Kano Native in $1.9m Fraud Case
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Rabiu Auwalu Tijjani wanted for his alleged involvement in a financial fraud scheme valued at approximately $1.93 million.
According to a statement by EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale, Tijjani is wanted in connection with conspiracy, obtaining money by false pretence, and money laundering amounting to $1,931,700.12.
The 43-year-old, a native of Dala Local Government Area in Kano State, was last seen at 59 Murtala Muhammed Way, Kano. His current whereabouts remain unknown.
The EFCC is appealing to the public for assistance in locating him. Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact any EFCC office across the country or reach out via the agency’s hotline (08093322644), email (info@efcc.gov.ng), or report to the nearest police station.
