Radhika Yadav, a talented state-level tennis player with multiple competition victories, was tragically shot dead by her father in Sushant Lok, Gurugram, India.

The 25-year-old victim resided in Sushant Lok Phase 2 of Gurugram.

On Thursday, July 10, around 10 a.m., her father fired five shots at her inside their home, with three bullets striking her.

The police have arrested her father, identified as Deepak Yadav.

Reports indicate that he was frustrated with his daughter's frequent use of Instagram to create reels.

Authorities received a call about a woman with gunshot wounds who was brought dead to the hospital.

Upon arriving at her residence, officers discovered that Radhika, who operated a tennis academy, had been shot dead by her own father.

During the initial investigation, the father confessed to the crime.

The police noted that a complaint was lodged by the accused's brother.

According to some unverified reports, Radhika Yadav, born on March 23, 2000, held the 113th rank as a doubles player in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) rankings.
