Andy Carroll Pleads for Reunion with Ex Lou Teasdale After Partying Split

Former footballer Andy Carroll is reportedly asking ex-girlfriend Lou Teasdale for another chance, admitting he “made a mistake” in ending their relationship. The pair split after a year together, with sources claiming Carroll’s partying was a key point of tension.

Friends told The Sun that Carroll now regrets the breakup, which followed Teasdale’s frustration over his drinking. “Andy has been saying he’s worried breaking up with Lou was a mistake. They’re not back together yet, but the door is open. He’s even restored her pictures on Instagram and followed her again,” a source said. “They’re both having doubts and may give it one more try — though no one is convinced it will work.”

Carroll’s romance with Teasdale began shortly after his bitter split from ex-wife Billi Mucklow. Their breakup came just eight weeks after Carroll was questioned by police over two alcohol-related holiday arguments in Greece. Another source claimed tensions also arose from Teasdale’s influencer lifestyle. “Andy hates the constant posting and posing. He just wants to focus on football and his kids,” the friend said.

The Sun reported that Teasdale, who is sober, had urged Carroll to quit drinking, a request he resisted. Despite describing their relationship as “toxic but loving,” friends say the couple struggle to live with or without each other. “There are changes Andy needs to make,” one friend added. “It’s just a matter of whether he’s willing to commit to them.”

Carroll, 36, and Teasdale’s whirlwind romance began weeks after his marriage ended last summer, marking a turbulent year for the ex-footballer both on and off the pitch.
