I Once Hawked Olive Oil and Zobo at Church Before Fame – Super Falcons’ Ajibade {VIDEO}

Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, has shared her inspiring journey from modest beginnings to football stardom during a testimony at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries’ Prayer City in Ogun State.

Ajibade, who recently led Nigeria to its 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) victory in Morocco, attended the August edition of the church’s monthly ‘Power Must Change Hands’ programme.

Addressing the congregation, the Atlético Madrid forward recalled how she once hawked olive oil, kunu, and zobo drinks around the church premises during deliverance services before rising to national and international recognition as a footballer.

“Whenever things get tough at my club or with the national team, I pray,” she said. “I work hard but never forget to rely on God.”

Reflecting on her past, she added, “I was once one of those young girls selling olive oil, kunu, and zobo at church programmes. Today, I give all glory to God.”

Ajibade encouraged others not to give up, urging them to “keep praying, keep fasting, keep working, and keep believing.”
