Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has told the club he will not play for them again, even if he remains at St. James’ Park beyond the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein.
The Magpies are reluctant to sell the 25-year-old Sweden international but are assessing options amid strong interest from Liverpool.
Meanwhile, AC Milan, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, and Newcastle are all vying for Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund, reports The TouchlineX via journalist Laurie Whitwell.
Hojlund’s potential exit follows United’s signing of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig earlier this summer. Sesko has previously named Zlatan Ibrahimović as his Manchester United idol.
