Mrs. Emmanuel Love Onuora, a 51-year-old teacher, was discovered dead inside a tricycle she boarded in Aba, Abia State, on Tuesday, July 29.
Mrs. Onuora, a well-known educator at a private school in the city, had taken the tricycle operated by Mr. Okechukwu Sunday, a resident of Aba originally from Anambra State, for her usual trip along Aba Road.
During the journey, the tricycle picked up another passenger who noticed that Mrs. Onuora was unconscious. Despite several attempts to revive her, she remained unresponsive. The driver promptly reported the situation to the local Area Commander in Aba, who arranged for her immediate transfer to St. Francis Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Her body was subsequently taken to the mortuary, and the police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
