Amorim Opens Door for Sancho, Antony, and Garnacho to Stay—But Only on One Condition

Manchester United manager RĂşben Amorim has made it clear that Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho still have a path to remain at Old Trafford—though under one specific condition.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Amorim explained that the trio could be reintegrated into the squad next season only if the club fails to secure acceptable transfer offers for them during the summer window.

The three players, alongside Tyrell Malacia, have already been omitted from United’s pre-season tour squad, reinforcing speculation that they are not part of the manager’s long-term plans.

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the players have been encouraged to explore opportunities elsewhere.

However, Amorim acknowledged their status as contracted Manchester United players, saying:
“If it comes to a point where they must rejoin the squad, they will—because they’re still our players. If the club doesn't receive the right offer, they will stay. I’m prepared to work with them.”
