Scheana Shay has disclosed that her husband, Brock Davies, cheated on her while she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer, who was born in April 2021. The Vanderpump Rules star, aged 40, shared this revelation in an excerpt from her upcoming book, My Good Side, detailing the shock she felt upon learning of the betrayal.

Shay recounted that Davies confessed to the affair, which took place two years earlier during the pandemic while they were residing in San Diego. “I was in a state of paralyzed shock as he admitted that he’d cheated on me two years prior, while I was pregnant with Summer,” she reflected.

She described her struggle to come to terms with this news, especially after trying to convince herself that her husband wouldn’t be unfaithful, despite her co-star Tom Sandoval cheating on Ariana Madix. “I had spent so much time battling my anxiety and assuring myself that just because Tom cheated on Ariana didn’t mean Brock would ever cheat on me. Now, I was realizing just how wrong I was,” she wrote.

Davies confessed that he was frightened about becoming a father again and chose to cope by having a brief affair with a woman at his gym in 2021. “He was scared about being a father again, particularly about whether he even deserved to be one, and he chose to handle it by sleeping with someone else,” Shay explained. “I use the word ‘chose’ because it was a conscious decision. No one forced him into it.”

Shay recalled her intense anger, which led her to slap Davies and throw a Rubik’s cube at him, which he managed to dodge. She mentioned that the sight of a Rubik’s cube or any reference to an F45 gym still brings back painful memories of that moment.

On the same night, Davies handed her a letter he had written a year after the affair ended, detailing the encounters. Shay described the letter as “rampant” with spelling errors, which frustrated her as it felt like another indication of his carelessness. The letter also clarified that the affair was purely physical, with no emotional connection, and that protection was always used.

Shay expressed that Davies’s avoidance of intimacy during her pregnancy had intensified her anxiety and diminished her confidence, a behavior that made more sense after reading the letter.

She also addressed rumors regarding a potential affair between Davies and their co-star Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, acknowledging her paranoia but ultimately dismissing the gossip as “ridiculously fake.” Davies revealed the affair to her just as she was about to watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey, fearing that if he didn’t tell her, someone else might.

The couple began dating in 2019, got engaged two years later, and married in 2022 in a ceremony filmed for Vanderpump Rules. They share their daughter, Summer, who is now four years old.
