Troost-Ekong, Lookman, Aina, Others Donate N24 Million to Super Falcons.

Six players from the Super Eagles have contributed a total of N24 million to the Super Falcons in recognition of their victory at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The players—captain William Troost-Ekong, Olaoluwa Aina, Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, Leon Balogun, and Joseph Ayodele-Aribo—made the donation as a show of support and appreciation for the team’s historic performance.

The Super Falcons pulled off a stunning comeback in the final on Saturday night, overturning a two-goal deficit to defeat hosts Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses. The win marked the 10th WAFCON title for coach Justine Madugu’s side.

The team and their officials returned to Nigeria on Monday and were also honored with rewards from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Nigerian Governors’ Forum.
