Argentine President Javier Milei was attacked with stones while campaigning for the upcoming mid-term elections, in the midst of an alleged corruption scandal.

On Wednesday, Milei was riding in the back of a pickup truck to greet supporters in Lomas de Zamora, a city near Buenos Aires, when demonstrators turned hostile.

Protesters hurled plants, rocks, and bottles at his motorcade and personal vehicle, forcing his security team to quickly move him away from the scene.

The right-wing leader is currently on the campaign trail ahead of the October elections.
