Rapper Odumodublvck has dismissed recent allegations by some artists accusing their peers of using streaming farms to inflate their numbers.
Having previously raised similar concerns himself, Odumodublvck argued that those who frequently bring up the issue are often using it as a scapegoat for their own underwhelming streaming performance.
He emphasized that no matter the presence of streaming farms, a genuinely good song loved by listeners will naturally reflect on streaming charts.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Odumodublvck wrote:
“Dear public,
Do not let them deceive you. No matter how much a song is stream farmed, if your song is good and the people love it, it will show.
All this is just small pikin scopes and antics. Insecurities. Trying to prepare the table in case you fail. Losers.”
His comments come amid recent concerns from fellow artists Blaqbonez and Magixx, who warned that streaming farms are causing “irreversible damage” to the Nigerian music industry.
