BBNaija S10: Danboskid, Ibifubara Evicted; Show Mourns Crew Member’s Death

Sunday night was filled with mixed emotions in the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house as two housemates, Danboskid and Ibifubara, were evicted, and the show announced the passing of a production crew member, Ayotunde Elegbede.

During the Week 2 live eviction, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu asked Thelma for her thoughts on Isabella. Thelma responded that she felt Isabella was “not her brother’s keeper,” referencing incidents from the last Head of House challenge.

Big Brother praised the housemates for their performance in the wager task and other activities during the week. Rooboy was later voted the most influential housemate of the week, with his reward to be unveiled in real-time.

Evictions

Danboskid was the first to leave the house, receiving a heartfelt hug from his close ally, Zita, as the other housemates sent him off with chants of “three gbosa for Danboskid.” On stage, he admitted the eviction felt unreal but accepted it as reality.

Clarifying a past remark about women, he told Ebuka he rarely approaches women unless they are exceptional, describing Zita as “gorgeous.” He revealed plans to pursue a Nollywood career and continue his bond with Zita outside the house.

Next, 28-year-old Ibifubara was evicted. She shared that she had felt lonely during the week due to changing friendships and admitted being attracted to Otega and Bright Morgan but chose not to act on it, saying the time wasn’t right. The therapist disclosed plans to launch a podcast and further develop a hair brand’s creative direction.

According to the voting chart, Denari narrowly escaped eviction after placing in the bottom three.

In a solemn close to the night, Ebuka announced the death of Ayotunde Elegbede, a member of the Big Brother production crew, noting that the family had informed organisers of his passing.
