Former Ekiti Deputy Governor Olujimi says Peter Obi is not a threat to Tinubu comes 2027.

A former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Olujimi, has stated that Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, does not pose a threat to President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term.

Olujimi argued that Obi’s eloquence, which significantly influenced his strong showing in the 2023 election, is unlikely to have the same impact in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

She made these remarks on Thursday during an appearance on Politics Today, a program on Channels Television.

“The rhetoric that worked in the last election won’t be effective again unless he comes up with a new strategy. Tinubu is a seasoned politician who knows the political landscape well,” she said.

The former Senate Minority Leader also emphasized that defeating President Tinubu in 2027 would be challenging due to his extensive political experience.
