Former Tottenham Manager Harry Redknapp’s £5 Million Mansion Targeted in Sledgehammer Robbery

Harry Redknapp, the former Premier League manager, has reportedly been the victim of a violent burglary at his £5 million mansion in Sandbanks, one of the UK’s most prestigious coastal locations.

Masked intruders, armed with sledgehammers, are said to have forced their way into the property while Harry and his wife Sandra, both aged 78, were away. The gang allegedly smashed through the front door and stole jewellery and other luxury possessions belonging to Sandra.

The robbery, described by sources as “clearly organised,” was caught on CCTV footage showing the burglars ransacking the home in search of valuables.

“They used lump hammers and a sledgehammer to break open the front door,” a source told The Sun. “It’s obvious they planned it and must have known the house was empty.”

The Redknapps’ Sandbanks property is currently up for sale as they prepare to move to a new residence. A spokesperson for Harry confirmed the break-in but declined to comment on the details, saying:

“Harry doesn’t want to make a fuss. No one was home at the time, and we won’t be commenting on what was taken. The police are handling the matter.”

Harry Redknapp, best known for managing Tottenham Hotspur, Portsmouth, and West Ham United, last managed Birmingham City in 2017. He famously led Spurs to their first-ever Champions League appearance.

Married since 1968, Harry and Sandra have two children: Jamie Redknapp, the former Liverpool and Spurs player turned Sky Sports pundit, and Mark Redknapp.

Police investigations are ongoing, though no official statement has been released yet.
