Juventus name former Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti as new head coach after sacking Tudor

Juventus has confirmed the appointment of former Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti, who will take over the team this weekend. His arrival comes after the club dismissed Igor Tudor on Monday, following an eight-game winless run under the Croatian.

In a statement, the club said: “We are thrilled to welcome a coach of such skill and experience to the Bianconeri family. Welcome to Juventus, and best of luck, coach!”

This marks Juve’s third managerial change in 2025, underscoring the instability that has plagued the team this year. Spalletti will now be expected to quickly assert his leadership and align the squad with his philosophy.

Despite a 3–1 victory over Udinese in midweek, Juventus sit seventh in Serie A. Spalletti’s first test will be Saturday’s clash against Jamie Vardy’s Cremonese.
