Mavin Records CEO, Don Jazzy, has confessed that he is afraid of getting married, largely due to the financial risks that come with divorce.
During a conversation with Habby Forex, the music mogul revealed that the thought of losing a significant portion of his wealth in a divorce settlement is unsettling.
He said:
“You see someone who has worked all their life and suddenly has to split their money because of divorce. I’m really scared of things like that. The money I have is for my generation.”
Don Jazzy noted that his concerns stem from real-life experiences of men who lost major assets after their marriages ended, especially those who did not sign prenuptial agreements.
He further disclosed that although he has been in relationships before, he is currently single and hoping for the right partner.
“I’ve dated before. Right now, I’m single. I’m scared, but God’s time is the best. I just want the right person, even though I don’t know if I’m the right person for someone’s daughter,” he added.
