Comedian Michael Blackson has revealed that he welcomed two sons just weeks apart—one with his fiancée, Rada, and another with a female friend. Following the revelation, Rada has reportedly ended their engagement.
In an Instagram post, Blackson apologized for his actions, saying he loves both of his new sons equally. He explained that even his older twin sons and his mother only recently learned about the baby he had with his female friend.
He wrote:
"Good day to all my family, friends, and fans. The last few months, God has blessed me, but with blessings came a lot of pain. Two months after Rada gave birth to little Mikey, a female friend I’ve known for over five years also gave birth to my son, King Kweku Blackson. My two boys have brought so much joy to my life but also caused me to lose my fiancée, Rada. Mikey was born on June 17, 2025, and Kweku on August 6, 2025. My older twin boys, who are now 18, didn’t find out until last night, and my own mom doesn’t even know. I love kids and thank God for bringing me two more healthy boys. My apologies to Rada, and I hope she forgives me for the pain I’ve caused. I will be the best, most loving father in the world. To avoid complications in the future, I’m only dating women who have run out of period or had a hysterectomy. Swipe and meet Kweku."
Back in August, Rada had shared her struggles with postpartum depression and caring for their son alone. Michael responded that his role was to provide financially for their child.
When their son Mikey was born on June 17, Blackson missed the birth, stepping out for coffee and returning later. Both he and Rada later commented that it may have been for the best—Rada said it reduced her stress without him cracking jokes in the delivery room, while Blackson admitted he wasn’t eager to witness the birth process.
