Former Nigerian footballer, Emmanuel Emenike, has spoken out against the demolition of residential buildings in Lagos, alleging that the exercise is unfairly targeted at a specific tribe.
In a post shared on his Instagram page on Monday evening, Emenike lamented that the Igbo community has been the primary victim of the demolitions, blaming the situation on their reluctance to invest in their home states.
He further advised that Igbos should begin to channel their investments to other states, such as Delta, to reduce such risks.
