Juventus Dismiss Coach Igor Tudor After Eight-Game Winless Streak

Juventus have parted ways with head coach Igor Tudor following a poor run of form that saw the team go eight matches without a win across all competitions, the club announced on Monday, October 27.

In a statement, the club confirmed:

“Juventus FC announces that it has today relieved Igor Tudor of his duties as coach of the men’s first team, along with his staff.”

The Turin-based club also revealed that Massimo Brambilla, currently in charge of the club’s reserve side, will take over the first team on an interim basis.

Tudor, a former Juventus defender and Croatian international, was appointed in March 2025, succeeding Thiago Motta. His arrival marked Juventus’ first foreign managerial appointment since Didier Deschamps in the 2006–07 season.

Although Tudor guided the team to a fourth-place finish in Serie A last season and a Champions League qualification, Juventus have struggled this campaign. After opening with three consecutive league wins, their form collapsed — with five straight draws followed by three defeats to Como, Real Madrid, and Lazio, intensifying pressure on the 46-year-old coach.

The club expressed gratitude in its statement, saying:

“The club thanks Igor Tudor and his entire staff for their professionalism and dedication over the past few months and wishes them all the best in their future endeavors.”

Juventus have failed to score in their last four games and currently sit eighth in Serie A, six points behind league leaders Napoli. Brambilla will take charge as caretaker manager for their upcoming home fixture against Udinese on Wednesday.
