A Libyan driver has been arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle three undocumented Nigerian women.
The Bomba Police Department confirmed that the driver and the women were taken into custody on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
According to Migrant Rescue Watch, an organisation that tracks migrant activities in Libya, the arrest followed a police chase in Umm al-Razm, a town located in eastern Libya.
All four individuals have since been handed over to the public prosecutor for further legal proceedings.
