Hollywood star Megan Fox has opened up about the emotional and physical challenges she’s faced since giving birth to her fourth child — a baby girl named Saga Blade — with fiancĂ© Machine Gun Kelly earlier this year.
Speaking at a panel discussion for the screening of her 2009 cult film Jennifer’s Body at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the 39-year-old actress candidly admitted that she’s been battling postpartum brain fog and severe sleep deprivation, according to Daily Mail.
“First of all, I just want to say I just had a baby, and I have a lot of brain fog,” Fox said. “I haven’t slept in seven months. So if I repeat myself, I’m sorry — just interrupt me and tell me I’m off track.”
Fox, who welcomed Saga in the spring, said motherhood has once again left her feeling emotionally exhausted yet deeply reflective. She also connected her experience as a new mother to her early struggles in Hollywood, drawing a parallel between her role in Jennifer’s Body and her own life.
“Before she becomes a monster, she’s a teenage girl who gets sacrificed for someone else’s gain — and that really resonated with me because that’s how I felt when I first entered this industry,” she explained.
At the event, Fox wore a nude corseted gown adorned with red beaded ‘blood’ accents, paying subtle tribute to the horror classic that helped define her career.
The actress is a mother of four — Noah, Bodhi, and Journey, whom she shares with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, and baby Saga, her first child with Machine Gun Kelly.
