Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the 2025 International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) Women’s Best Goalkeeper Award, according to DAILY POST.
The Nigerian international earned the recognition following her outstanding performances for both her former club, Paris FC, and the Super Falcons of Nigeria.
The 24-year-old was instrumental in Paris FC’s victory in the Coupe de France Féminine in June and played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s triumph at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, where the team clinched a record-extending 10th title.
Her exceptional display during the tournament earned her the Goalkeeper of the Tournament accolade.
Nnadozie also made history by finishing fourth in the 2025 Yachine Trophy, becoming the first African—and the first Nigerian—to achieve this milestone.
The winner of the IFFHS Women’s Best Goalkeeper Award will be announced in December.
