Senator Ned Nwoko Responds to Viral Video Linking Him to Young Woman, Issues Stern Warning

Billionaire businessman and senator, Prince Ned Nwoko, who is also the husband of actress Regina Daniels, has addressed a viral video circulating online that linked him to a young woman.

In a statement shared on his Instagram page, Nwoko clarified that the woman featured in the video had visited him as part of a delegation under the Peace Ambassadors initiative, led by Ambassador Dr. Adejo Sule, and not for any personal reason.

He explained that photos and videos were taken during the courtesy visit, as is customary when he receives guests, but some individuals have deliberately misrepresented the moment for attention and misinformation.

“It is unfortunate what social media has become — a space where moments are easily twisted for clout and false narratives,” he wrote.

Nwoko dismissed the circulating claims as “mischievous and malicious,” insisting that he has no private or personal relationship with the woman in question.

He further warned those spreading the story — including media platforms — to desist immediately, reminding the public that the Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act, 2015 remains in effect and will be used against anyone found guilty of defamation or spreading false information.

“Let me state clearly and unequivocally that the reports surrounding her visit are completely false. I have no personal connection with her whatsoever,” Nwoko emphasized.

“Any further propagation of this false narrative will attract appropriate legal action,” he added.
