Kim Kardashian needed assistance to navigate the red carpet at the Fifth Annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night, as her entire face was covered by a mask.
The reality star explained that her look was Margiela couture by designer Glenn Martens. “You know, I love Margiela,” she said. “I even flew in my favorite makeup artist, Mario, from New York. This was kind of a last-minute thing, so I’m sure he’s not too happy about it.”
Despite being fully masked, Kardashian revealed she was wearing “full hair and makeup” underneath, which she planned to reveal once inside the event.
“It definitely feels very Skims-y,” she added, referencing her popular underwear brand. “When I saw this look at the Margiela couture show, I thought, ‘That is so Skims to me.’”
