The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that the Super Eagles will begin preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs on Sunday, November 9, in Rabat, Morocco.
Head coach Eric Chelle is expected to unveil his squad list for the mini-tournament next week.
Nigeria will face Gabon’s Panthers in the first semi-final on Thursday, November 13. The winner of that encounter will meet either Cameroon or the Democratic Republic of Congo in the final.
Meanwhile, CAF is scheduled to conduct a draw today (Thursday) to determine the match venues for both fixtures.
The El Barid Stadium and the Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex, both located in Rabat, have been shortlisted as potential host venues.
