Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen, has been shortlisted for the CAF Men’s Player of the Year Award after another outstanding season.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Wednesday released the 10-man shortlist for the 2025 CAF Awards, which will take place in Marrakech, Morocco, for the third consecutive year.
Osimhen, who clinched the award in 2023, continues to shine on the continental stage. The Nigerian forward played a crucial role in Galatasaray’s Turkish Super Lig triumph, netting 26 league goals during the season.
His consistent performances also earned him a record €75 million permanent transfer from Napoli to the Turkish champions.
Other top contenders for the award include Mohamed Salah of Liverpool and Achraf Hakimi of Paris Saint-Germain.
