A model who posted explicit "revenge po0n" images of another woman online and branded her a "tramp" has avoided jail despite the severity of the offence.

Louise Billman, 40, uploaded multiple private images of the victim engaged in s3xual activity to Instagram, accompanied by slurs including “tramp” and “s**g”. Cambridge Magistrates’ Court heard that the images, showing the woman in “various s3xual positions,” left the victim feeling violated and deeply anxious.

Prosecutor James Quelch said the incident, which occurred in June 2023, had a profound impact on the victim’s mental health and daily life. “The ordeal affected the victim’s day-to-day activities and left her scared of the potential consequences,” Quelch told the court.

In a victim impact statement, the woman said: “I felt like I had been stripped of my dignity… my anxiety has increased, I am constantly thinking that people who know me have seen the images. I am worried there will be repercussions for my family and child. In her posts, there were also images of my child. I am constantly worried about the images surfacing.”

Despite the emotional toll on the victim, Billman was sentenced to 20 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, after being found guilty of disclosing private s3xual images without consent.

Billman, who appeared in court wearing a black dress, declined to comment after the sentencing. Her partner, Joey Baptiste, was present for the hearing. Baptiste himself has a history of violent behaviour. In 2021, he avoided jail after admitting to coercive control and physical abuse against a former partner, including dragging her from a bed, smashing her head into a car dashboard, and throwing her against a wall.

Rachel Buck, representing Billman, told the court her client had no previous convictions and had been "ostracised" by her own family for continuing to support Baptiste during his legal troubles. Billman had pleaded with the court to spare Baptiste jail time while she was pregnant with his twins.

Baptiste made headlines again after crashing a £100,000 Ferrari belonging to Dragon’s Den star Ross Mendham.
