Autopsy Reveals Rapper T-Hood Was Shot in the Back

An autopsy report has confirmed that Atlanta rapper T-Hood was shot at least once in the back during a fatal incident inside his Snellville, Georgia home on August 8.

Gwinnett County police told TMZ that the findings do not add much beyond what was already known and that the case is still being investigated as a potential self-defense shooting.

According to the county medical examiner, T-Hood sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the back, abdomen, buttocks, and thighs. Investigators say the shooting stemmed from a heated argument between the rapper and two other individuals. The report alleges that T-Hood brandished a firearm, prompting another person to open fire. The shooter’s identity has not been publicly disclosed.

Emergency responders transported T-Hood to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. At the time of his death, he was in a relationship with Kelsie Frost, daughter of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta stars Kirk and Rasheeda.

Police initially responded to the home after a domestic disturbance call. Since then, Kelsie’s brother, Ky Frost, has been identified as a primary suspect. However, no charges have been filed as investigators continue to examine whether the killing was an act of self-defense — a claim complicated by the fact that T-Hood was struck in the back.

Records also reveal prior police involvement with the couple. In March 2025, Kelsie filed a complaint alleging that T-Hood took her Mercedes-Benz and a Mac Mini computer without permission following an argument.
