A 6ft 9in model has opened up about the challenges she faces in her love life because of her extraordinary height — revealing that one of her ex-boyfriends was often mistaken for her son.
Katie Woolls, 27, from London — known online as @tallgirlkatie to over one million followers — said her height often intimidates men, leaving her single despite wanting a serious relationship.
“I hope I’ll eventually find someone,” she said. “One of my relationships ended because he couldn’t handle my height. People would make comments saying he looked like my son, which was really embarrassing. Everyone says they’re fine with tall women until they meet me in person and realise I’m literally a foot taller.”
Katie shared that she prefers “average guys” but struggles because many men either feel insecure or treat her height as a fetish.
“Dating apps are the worst,” she admitted. “I get messages from men who have giantess fantasies and want me to roleplay as a 40-foot woman or step on them because of my big feet — I’m a UK size 11. Some even ask me to dominate them or call them ‘good boy.’ It’s exhausting because I just want something real.”
Despite the difficulties, Katie remains confident in her appearance and proud of her uniqueness. Born prematurely, she grew quickly as a child and now embraces her tall frame.
“I love myself, and I can’t help that I’m tall,” she said. “I’m just looking for someone kind, funny, and confident — height doesn’t matter to me. He just needs to be comfortable standing next to someone who’s over a foot taller.”
