Danny Trejo Breaks Silence After Being Spotted in Wheelchair Amid Death Rumors

Hollywood icon Danny Trejo has spoken out after fans grew worried when he was seen in a wheelchair, just days following false reports of his death.

The 81-year-old actor — renowned for his tough-guy roles in films such as Machete and Spy Kids — was photographed at his Hollywood restaurant over the weekend, where he assured fans that he was in good health, according to the Daily Mail.

When asked about his condition, Trejo smiled and said, “Everything is beautiful.”

His appearance came shortly after he was seen at a Toronto airport being pushed in a wheelchair by his son, Gilbert, following a recent knee replacement surgery.

Only weeks earlier, Trejo had debunked viral death rumors after a fake report claimed he had suffered a stroke. He addressed the false news on Instagram, writing, “Thank you all for your concern, but I am very much alive. Someone is spreading fake news.”

Trejo, who recently celebrated 57 years of sobriety, has long been open about his turbulent past — including time spent in San Quentin and Folsom prisons — and how faith and discipline helped him turn his life around.

“I feel blessed because I wasn’t supposed to make it out of the ’60s,” he once reflected. “Every day for me is just a blessing.”
