President Tinubu to Host Celebratory Reception for Super Falcons in Abuja on Monday

 

President Bola Tinubu is set to host the triumphant Super Falcons and their coaching crew at the State House in Abuja on Monday.

The Nigerian women’s national football team is expected to touch down in the country late Sunday night after their WAFCON victory in Morocco.

During the reception, President Tinubu is anticipated to reward the team and officials generously in recognition of their outstanding performance.

It’s worth noting that the President had earlier approved the payment of all pending bonuses and allowances to the squad just before Saturday’s final clash against Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses.

The Super Falcons staged an impressive comeback from a two-goal deficit to clinch a 3-2 victory, securing their record-extending 10th WAFCON title.
