Veteran Nigerian producer and Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, has expressed pride after securing six production credits on Billboard’s newly released Top 50 Best Afrobeats Songs of All Time list.
The acclaimed producer shared his excitement on X, writing:
“Inside the 50 I sha produced 6. I try abi I no try?”
Don Jazzy’s fingerprints are on some of Afrobeats’ biggest hits featured in the ranking, including Wande Coal’s Bumper 2 Bumper and Kiss Your Hand; D’banj’s global smash Oliver Twist and Fall In Love; as well as Tiwa Savage’s Eminado and the Mavin all-star anthem Dorobucci.
With six songs to his name, Don Jazzy holds the record for the most production credits on the list—further cementing his status as one of the most influential figures in Afrobeats history.
