Super Falcons skipper, Rasheedat Ajibade, has completed a move to Paris Saint-Germain Féminine, signing a deal that runs until June 30, 2027, with an option to extend.
The 25-year-old forward joins the French giants as a free agent following the expiration of her contract with Atlético de Madrid, where she had been since 2021 after a two-year stint in Norway with Avaldsnes IL.
PSG confirmed the signing on Tuesday, stating:
“Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce the arrival of Nigerian striker Rasheedat Busayo Ajibade, who has joined the club on a contract until 30th June 2027.”
Speaking after sealing the move, Ajibade expressed her excitement:
“I’m deeply honoured to be joining Paris Saint-Germain, one of the top clubs in Europe. This is a major step in my career, and I’m determined to give everything to help PSG win titles and to inspire young footballers, both in Nigeria and around the world.”
During the 2024–25 season, Ajibade made 25 appearances, netting eight goals and providing three assists for Atlético Madrid.
