Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the 2025 CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award.
The 24-year-old shot-stopper, who won the inaugural award in 2023 and retained it in 2024, is widely tipped to claim the prestigious honour for a third consecutive year.
Nnadozie was a standout performer for the Super Falcons at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), where Nigeria clinched a record-extending 10th title. Her stellar displays earned her the Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament award.
The former Paris FC star, now with Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Women’s Super League, has continued her fine form at club level.
Earlier this year, Nnadozie also placed fourth in the Women’s Yachine Trophy category at the 2025 Ballon d’Or, a newly introduced award celebrating the world’s top female goalkeepers.
