Vinicius Jr Reportedly Considering Real Madrid Exit After Clash with Coach Xabi Alonso

Vinicius Junior is reportedly seriously considering leaving Real Madrid amid claims that he no longer feels respected by head coach Xabi Alonso, according to explosive reports from Spain.

The 25-year-old Brazilian forward, widely regarded as one of Europe’s top attacking talents, has enjoyed tremendous success since joining Los Blancos in 2018, winning 14 major trophies.

However, tensions between Vinicius and Alonso have reportedly escalated in recent weeks, culminating in a heated exchange during Real Madrid’s 2–1 El Clásico victory over Barcelona at the weekend.

After being recalled to the starting lineup following a bench role against Getafe, Vinicius reacted angrily when substituted in the 72nd minute. Cameras captured him shouting, “Me? Me? Mister, mister! Me?” toward Alonso before storming down the tunnel.

Spanish outlet AS claims the winger told teammates, “Always me! I’m leaving the team! I’d better go!” as he headed for the dressing room. The report adds that Vinicius feels Alonso does not “respect his status” and is now seriously weighing up a departure from the Bernabéu.

The 2024 Ballon d’Or runner-up reportedly believes Alonso “doesn’t like him,” with their strained relationship becoming a growing concern within the club.

Despite the tension, Real Madrid’s board is said to be firmly backing Alonso’s management and will support whatever disciplinary or sporting decisions he makes regarding Vinicius.
